Out with the price in with the service…
When I first started in business I was always taught that price sells product. You give a customer a great price and they will buy. Now due to the technology aka the internet price is one of the last things that sells product. Nowa days you have to provide a great service to the customer. That’s what sells. You provide a stellar service to a customer and they will pay that premium price. I know I will. They’ll be your most loyal customers also. Honestly you don’t want to sell to a customer that price is what sells. There not loyal. The only reason they bought from you is because you gave them the best deal. Next time when they buy they’ll come back to you, If you give them the best price. If not, they’ll just go to on to the next person that’s going to give them the best price. There not loyal at all. As far as everything I’ve been taught in business, without repeat business there will be no business for long. A good customer understands that you have to make a fair profit to keep the door opens. Otherwise you won’t be there next time they need you.
So next time you try to give that customer the best price for your product think. Do you really want a customer that you made no profit on and probably wont be back to see you in any way shape or form unless you give them the best price again aka you make 0 profit. Provide that great service, request a fair premium price for your product, and trust me they will love your business and come back to see you next time they are in need.

The Power Of A Handshake
Archaeological ruins and ancient texts show that handshaking was practiced in ancient Greece as far back as the 5th century BC. It was an offering of peace between soldiers… {Ya I googled it J.. So what! Did you think I would insult you by thinking you would think I was that intelligent to know this random knowledge? Sorry} to disappoint. Personally I hate shaking hands. I know what people do with their hands and I want no part of it, but if it will open a few doors for me,
Now how I see a handshake is an opportunity. Honestly the more people you meet in your life the better the probability of meeting someone who’s going to help your future. I’ve practiced with walking up to perfect strangers and somehow starting a conversation with them. It helps. Trust me. Maybe walk up and do some random act of kindness. You’ll brighten that person’s day and you’ll shake some of the nerves you have with speaking. Success is somewhat of a numbers game. Honestly great you have that college degree, you have that look, that swagger, but you have to leave that box eventually and meet someone who will make or break your career. So get out there and shake as many hands as possible, but I suggest a small bottle of purex from your local Walgreens…Not everyone is as hygienic as you…

Commitment
Well I feel compelled to chat a bit on my feelings of what a commitment really is. I have a few of my close friends going through there own dilemma due to this little word. Whether its your job, marriage, family, etc. I truly think the core to this word is honesty. That’s it…. My definition of Commitment: I said I’ll do it so I will…… Straight outta Webster I swear J Pretty simple huh. You would be surprised how big of a bitch this is for a lot of people. If I could make a suggestion on how to avoid angst due to commitment ….If you don’t think 100% that you’ll be able to do something don’t commit to it. No big deal and your not breaking any commitment. Sounds simple, but I think a lot of things in life are made complicated when at the core its quite simple.
Commitment says a lot about your character. You reputation is one of the most valuable things you have in your life. You go 20 years without breaking a commitment and that one instance you do your credibility is shot down the tubes….To sum it up….. Don’t commit if you can’t follow through… Yes I need to practice what I preach on this one… No Ones perfect and the only person who can fix you is in the mirror… not in a shrinks office making 200 bucks an hour. No time like the present for change.
“You wake up every morning with the ability to erase that slate and create a new history.”
So why not do it. Take the positive from the day before, learn from the negative, and grow…Be Committed!

Being a new blog someone has submitted to me a great idea. A daily drink recommendation for the evening… Work hard play hard. You’ve had a long day. Kick back, relax, and have a cocktail:
Hypnotic Martini Recipe
The hypnotic martini recipe collection is vast and here is a classic hypnotic martini recipe which needs the following ingredients:
1. Four ounces of hypnotiq liqueur
2. Two ounces of coconut rum
3. Two ounces of pineapple juice
The method of preparation is as follows:
1. Take all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well.
2. Strain the mixture into a martini or a cocktail glass.
3. Serve with a garnish of a wedge of pineapple
Global Cooling Annual Meeting
I just flew in from my annual Global Cooling Meeting. Thoughts numbers might grow a bit, but as you can tell from the picture, the turnout was the same. There’s never an early enough time to prepare for the Global Cooling season. As you saw Global Warming was at record highs this year.We are expecting not as quite a drastic season as Global Warming, but that’s up to Mother Nature. So start making your preparation for the season. Don’t say you haven’t been warned!

Car Tip For The Day
Incentives
The manufacturer likes to bait people with their great programs they develop to get customers onto our lot. Thank god they do. They do a great job of marketing these incentives and really showing value to the customer and why now is the time to buy a vehicle. Honestly it’s always time to buy a vehicle. The U.S is planning on selling 14million cars and trucks this year. There is a big pie out there and they want as much as they can get.
Now here is my take on these incentives. They are great. Plain and simple…wait for it…wait for it…. Ya you knew it was coming, BUT sometimes they aren’t used most advantageously by the customer. Example: You have an incentive of 0% for 72 months on a vehicle. Sounds great!! No interest on your money for a whole 72 months. Here is the buzzkill. Lets say your credit lets you qualify for this. In my experience people with good enough credit to qualify for this type of incentive usually payoff a vehicle early. Well by doing this usually to get that 0% you have to give up some kind a rebate. On 0% your rebates can get as high as 5k. That’s up front money from the manufacturer gives the customer to cover up inequity, get a better payment, etc. Like I said though you’re probably going to trade or payoff before the 72months is up. If you went for the 0% and paid it off early you’re not taking full advantage of the program. Your best bet is to take a low interest rate and take the rebate. If you know for sure that you’re going to take 72 months to pay off that vehicle then take the 0%. Honestly though your going to get a great rate anyways because of your good credit. Take the cheaper car. Hope this helped a lot of people. This is one of the things I like to do for our customer. Educate them and it will build a trust factor for years to come.
